She studied Philosophy at UNAM and Filmmaking at CUEC (ENAC), UNAM. She was awarded the German Association for Academic Exchange in intensive German and Film Studies Summer School 2019, the Russian Government scholarship to direct a documentary film at the VGIK Summer School 2017, a scholarship for the Intensive Scriptwriting Workshop during Raindance Film Festival in England 2017, and the scholarship from the University of Arizona/UNAM to direct a documentary short film in Arizona.
She completed a one-year certificate in Audiovisual Production with a Gender Perspective, offered by El Rule Cultural Centre (Mexico) and Mujeres Lab, as well as other courses related to the female gaze in Filmmaking, scriptwriting with a gender perspective, and feminism in art as a factor for social change. 
She works as a director, DP and script supervisor and coordinates the Gender Perspective in Film Seminar at ENAC. She won the short film production grant PROCINE 2024 and her first feature film as DP, “To be called Olimpia”, won the Mezcal Award for best Mexican film at Guadalajara International Film Festival 2025,  the Silver Biznaga at Malaga International Film Festival, Affirming Women's Rights Sections, and has been part of Guanajuato International Film Festival.
